The tent will be the main focus of the film, the character will step inside, and it will take him to a different place, the two characters will eventually be teleported to the same place where they meet.

The opening scene will take place on the top of a multi story car park, the main character parks on top and notices the tent, after surveying the area he notices no one is around so he goes inside the tent to have a look. This is where he realising what the tent does.

I would like my film to follow a similar structure to Memento, the way the same character's story is told both from the start and the end, although i dont want his story to be the same in my film, i think i will use the same structure.

the main character A will write all his discoveries into a journal, this will not match with the voiceover at the start, but eventually they will cross over.
Image result for woodlandOne of the locations will be a woodland, as i think this could look extremely cinematic, and could also create some interesting scenes.

Do geese see god- film synopsis Taylor is an ordinary adult on the way home from work. Upon reaching his house to park his car, he notices a tent obstructing his path. Filled with curiosity he gets in the tent and zips it up so that no one sees him. When he re-opens the tent to get out, a large gust of wind hits his face and he realises he is now in a different location. After getting out of the tent he discovers a note pinned to a tree. The note informs him that the tent is the only way back to where he started. After having multiple experiences of the tent changing location, Taylor finds his own car keys hanging off a branch in some woods. Shoot 3 shots and editing drone shot This drone shot was extremely hard to perform as i had to fly it backwards under a fallen tree which although wasn't very high, the shape of it as well as the hanging branches made it difficult to fly through and get the shot.  Colour grading- i had to colour grade this shot slightly different compared to the other shots, because the drone isn't as good in low light compared to a camera. I had to de-noise the image using the median tool, and i had to increase the shadows much more than i usually would. Shot of keys + meaning explained The meaning of the keys and why they are shown so obviously is because the object acts as a Macguffin, the character always checks to have the keys, and if he doesn't then he knows something is wrong. I added a humming sound effect when he picks up the keys to highlight the importance of the object, picking up the keys in turn broke the paradox, which is why he sees himself get in the tent...

Film opening https://youtu.be/rAYNhlvxehY Editing techniques Mask transition Track the object which you want to mask frame by frame using the free draw bezier, after each frame press the arrow positioned in the effect controls to advance the clip forward by one frame, continue this process until the whole clip has been masked away and the next clip is underneath. Some options can be altered after the edit is complete, increasing the feather makes the line seem smoother and more natural. I got the inspiration for this transition from Pan's labyrinth. After working out how to apply the transition to basic objects, i applied it to more complex ones such as a shoe, i may also look to do it inside a tent, so when the tent opens, the next shot follows from outside. Colour grading For the colour grade, i usually (depending on the shot) increase the warmth of the image as i find this much more appealing than a cooler look.
